The Cottier Chamber Project
Daniel's Beard Logo

Following Daniel's Beard's pilot series in the 2010 West End Festival, The Cottier Chamber Project was born. Instantly becoming the UK's largest chamber music festival, Daniel's Beard have hosted the series each year, usually performing 5 or 6 concerts. For the 2014 edition of the festival, we were joined by High Heart Dance Company, who hosted the new dance thread. Our first collaboration with them was for a setting of Tennyson's The Lady of Shalott by Lenny Sayers, which also featured at the 2014 Edinburgh Fringe as part of the Made in Scotland showcase programme.

In the 2015 The Cottier Chamber Project became an independent festival, with almost 60 events taking place over three weeks in June. Daniel's Beard will give 7 performances as part of an eclectic programme that includes chamber music, dance, film, discussion, world music, jazz and photography - with several events where two or more of these collide!

You can see our performances on our main diary page, or you can view the whole programme for the 2015 edition of the festival here.
